It's hard to believe but the summer fun is nearly halfway done. The fourth of July is right around the corner and both the May Opener and June Headliner have come to a close.
Still, there's plenty of summer left and two more Bowlapalooza contests yet to be played. Before we can move onto our next monthly contest; however, let's take a look at how the June Headliner finished up.
While complete results won't be finalized until Monday, it's fair to say that Ron "Hammering" Hammersley has prevailed once again, giving him two Bowlapalooza titles under his belt!
The Indiana native cruised to an easy victory in the May Opener, and while the Headliner provided him with much tougher competition, mainly that of the hot hand of Wisconsin great and second place finisher Lloyd McFarland, the 67-year-old Hammer still managed to coast in the final days.
Others looking to see where they end up will be find out there final standings on Monday as well. Those that do make the top 200 should see money in their Player Account no later than Wednesday.
Enjoy the break bowlers, because the SSB action starts back up on Wednesday, July 1st – just in time for the long weekend! Will Ron Hammersley capture his third straight Bowlapalooza crown, or will Lloyd McFarland or one of the many skilled trackballers finally break through and crush his streak?
Two down, two to go!
