Indianapolis Sharpshooter Telly Rogers Proves His Game is Just as Good on Silver Strike LIVE!

Telly RogersWe figured it would take at least a few weeks for someone to be perfect in Spare Challenge - Silver Strike's newest game mode. Telly Rogers had other thoughts. The Indianapolis sharpshooter came out and fired a 300-game, in his very first game!

Telly has made a name for himself as one of Silver Strike's best overall players. He's won major tournaments over the past few years including the Tournament of Champions in 2008. While this accomplishment doesn't come equipped with a trophy or financial gain, (past the cool ten bucks he took home for the contest), this certainly is something worth celebrating!

For those of you who haven't played Silver Strike's newest game, Spare Challenge gives players ten separate spare looks that increase in difficulty as the player progresses through the game. At the end, your score is doubled giving you the best possible score of 300, the same as regular bowling.

In the first non-test Prize Contest, Telly picked up all spares and took home first place with his 300! "It's pretty awesome that I was able to do this in my first game, and I really didn't know it happened until the 300 popped up," Telly said. "I don't think it will be nearly this easy to be consistent in Spare Challenge, but I am having an absolute blast and I'm off to a good start!"

Silver Strike LIVE project manager Ralph Melgosa shared his thoughts on Telly's accomplishment.

"What a start to the LIVE era! The fact that there are players out there who are able to accomplish such amazing milestones this early on is a testament to their skill level. The beauty about Spare Challenge is that the game will have a different setup each time through. Regardless of whether this was a favorable setup or not, this in an unbelievable way to get the ball rolling on Silver Strike LIVE!"
