And like that, the Silver Strike LIVE 300 Club suddenly doesn't appear all that empty. Up until this point, the lone member in the club was Cedar Rapid's native and 2008 SSB National Champion Mike Cornwell. Now, However, some of the game's premier players are right by his side.
Mike's bowling buddy Dan "Biddy" Bailey certainly knows a thing or two about being amongst the Silver Strike elite. Aside from being the 2009 TOC champion, Dan was the second person to nail a 300 on Silver Strike Bowler's Club. He has managed to mirror that feat on LIVE. Even more impressive is the fact that Dan is one of two people to ever roll a 900-series! Perhaps a 900 on LIVE is next?
Next up is Indianapolis bowler Telly Rogers. Like Bailey, Telly also has a TOC title to his name and has been a force in live competitions over the past few years. In Telly's first-ever Spare Challenge contest on SS LIVE, he managed to nail a 300-game. He's since done the same in Classic bowling and is another prestigious member of the LIVE 300 Club and the SSBC 300 Club.
Finally, there's Indiana bowler "Deadeye" Del Flecker who had his formal coming-out party throughout the 2009 Bowlapalooza contest. Del put on quite a show, particularly in the final event, with a ton of 300-games! He is without question one of the toughest players in the game today. With his 300 in LIVE, Del is another elite bowler to claim spots in both 300 Clubs.
We know that some of the game's best players aren't the only ones nailing perfection. If you hit a 300 on Silver Strike LIVE or Silver Strike Bowler's Club, you can join the elite by doing the following.
Submit a photo of yourself next to the Silver Strike leaderboard that displays your perfect game, along with your name, address and the location you played at to SSB300Club@itsgames.com. Once verified, you will be added to the ultra-elite membership list and get featured on Silverstrikebowling.com!
Congrats to Dan, Telly, and Del!
We look forward to hearing from the rest of you that have achieved perfection!
