How To Start A Game

Once you hit the Start Button, select the amount of players that will be playing in that game by moving the trackball. Up to 8 players can play on the same machine! Press Start again to select the appropriate players for that game.

Casual Bowling:
Just bowl! Play Silver Strike without swiping in. Because of this you won't be able to customize your bowler, use customized bowling equipment, win prizes, or keep track of stats while you play. Still, this is the perfect mode for someone looking to get a feel of the game.

Stats Bowling:
Play the game just the way you like it! Keep track of your bowling and Spare Challenge averages, customize your bowler, use custom bowling balls, and get all the joys of online play! If you don't want to compete in Prize Play contests but still want all the LIVE experience – Stats Bowling is the perfect way to play!

Prize Contest:
For the first time ever, you can win money playing Silver Strike Bowling! Players will be able to compete for prizes in Classic mode, one 10-frame game, or in the new Spare Challenge! For information on this all-new game mode, click here.

Pay an extra dollar and compete against fifty other players in a LIVE online tournament! Win $10 for finishing first and $1 for finishing 20th. Finish out of the top twenty and you'll still be rewarded a virtual bowling ball! The prize payouts are the same for both contests.

The Prize Play Terms and Rules.

After selecting Casual Bowling, Stats Bowling, or Prize Contests, all players will be prompted to decide whether they'd like to play Classic Bowling or Spare Challenge. In Casual and Stats Bowling, players will also be able to select Vegas Bowling. This feature will be automatically enabled in Prize Contests.

Selecting Classic Bowling in both Casual and Stats Bowling will then prompt players to decide whether they'd like to play a single game or a three-game series. For more information on Classic Bowling, click here.

From here you'll then be asked to choose what bowling lane you'd like to play at. There are three separate lanes to pick from. For more information on Silver Strike LIVE's all new bowling venues, click here.

For Stats Play and Prize Contests you'll be asked to identify yourself before the game. By simply swiping a Silver Strike Bowler's Card, Golden Tee Player card, or credit card in the card reader, your Silver Strike LIVE account will be accessed and the ability to compete in LIVE contests will be enabled. No charges are made to credit cards since this secure and encrypted process is purely for identification purposes only.

Finally before playing all game modes, you will be prompted to choose a preferred payment type.

Cash – Insert bills into the acceptor on the front of the cabinet.
Player Account – Use prize money won in past contests to pay for play by debiting your player account. Visit the Player Account FAQ for questions.
Gift Card – Swipe your Silver Strike or Golden Tee Gift Card in the card reader and get the ball rolling!

Replay
By hitting the Start button at any point during a throw, you will automatically see an Instant Replay after that shot concludes. This replay will occur regardless of whether it's the 1st or 2nd throw and no matter how many pins you knock down. You can also control the cameras on the replay by using the Left, Right, and Overhead Buttons. Using the Replay can be a valuable tool to adjust your throwing style and speed going forward.

Options
The Options Button or Start Button can be hit at an point during the game. This will bring up the Options Menu, which will provide you with the following items. Customize: Change your bowler's throwing hand, sex, look, and clothing. Equipment: Rent customized bowling balls and set your current bag for that game. Change Personal Info: Adjust your leaderboard name. Buy Bowlers Card: Purchase a new Silver Strike Bowlers Club Card. Player Quit: Quit out of your current game. Return To Game: Leave the Options Menu and continue bowling.
